Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 October 2026
These terms cover your use of this website, which is run by Cedar Allied Health (ABN 35 694 619 522). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. These terms sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
If you need help right now
We are not a crisis service, and this website and our contact form are not checked around the clock. If you or your child are in danger or need urgent support:
- Emergency: call 000
- Kids Helpline (ages 5 to 25): 1800 55 1800, 24 hours a day
- Lifeline: 13 11 14, 24 hours a day
What this website is for
The information here is general. It is written to help families understand what we do and decide whether to get in touch.
It is not advice about your child, and it can’t take the place of an assessment or a conversation with a health professional who knows your situation. If something you read here worries you, please talk to your GP or contact us.
Reading this website, or sending us an enquiry, does not make you or your child a client. A service begins once we have spoken with you, agreed on the next steps, and you have given your consent.
If you become a client, the service agreement you sign with us covers the services we provide. If anything in these terms conflicts with that agreement, the agreement applies.
Keeping it up to date
We work to keep this website accurate. Services, availability and funding rules do change, so we will confirm the details that apply to you before any appointment. Our articles reflect the information available when they were published.
Information about Medicare and the NDIS is a general guide only. Decisions about Medicare rebates are made by Services Australia, and decisions about NDIS funding are made by the National Disability Insurance Agency, not by us.
Using our contact form
A short enquiry is all we need: your name, the best way to reach you, and a few words about what you are looking for. Detailed health information is better shared once we have spoken. Our Privacy Policy explains where form enquiries are stored.
Please don’t use the form for anything urgent. The numbers at the top of this page are there for that.
Using the site fairly
Please use this website only for lawful purposes. Don’t try to interfere with how it works, gain access to parts of it that aren’t public, collect information from it by automated means, or use the contact form to send spam or anything harmful.
Links to other websites
We sometimes link to other organisations, such as government agencies and support services, because we think they will help. We don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.
Our content
The words, images, logo and design on this website belong to Cedar Allied Health or are used with permission. You are welcome to print or share pages for your own or your family’s use, or to share a link. Please ask us before copying our content for any other purpose, except where the law allows it.
Social media
If you follow us on social media, please don’t share personal or health details in comments or messages. Our social media accounts are not monitored for urgent matters, and we may hide or remove comments that share personal health information.
Our responsibility
We take care with what we publish, but we can’t promise this website will always be available or free from errors.
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss, including indirect loss, that comes from using this website, from it being unavailable, or from relying on general information here instead of seeking advice about your own situation.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law that can’t be excluded.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any dispute about them is a matter for the courts of Victoria. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
