Funding options

Understanding how support is funded makes it much easier to take the first step. Families come to us in all sorts of circumstances — some with a referral in hand, some with an NDIS plan, and plenty with neither — so there’s rarely one answer that fits everyone.

Below is a plain-language overview of the ways families fund sessions with us. When you get in touch, we’ll talk through what applies to your family and make sure you have a clear picture before anything is booked.

Not sure what to expect? See how getting started works.

Medicare

Many families access sessions with the help of a Medicare rebate, using a Mental Health Treatment Plan and a referral from their GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist.

NDIS

If your child’s NDIS plan includes funding for psychology, that support is already allocated. We work with families whose plans are self-managed or plan-managed.

Paying privately

You’re welcome to see us without a referral or an NDIS plan. Many families prefer the simplicity of arranging support directly, with no obligation to book.
